Twisted Sound System will be headlining the Friday night on the Origin Stage at this summer's Glade Festival happening from Thursday 14th until Sunday 17th June to Houghton Hall in Norfolk.

Raja Ram (Shpongle)
The pioneers of the psychedelic sound Raja Ram (Shpongle), Simon Posford, and Benji Vaughan will all join forces under the banner of Twisted Sound System for a special two-hour show prepared exclusively Glade 2012.

The trio, who are responsible for music from Shpongle, Hallucinogen, Younger Brother, Prometheus and many other projects, are currently locked in the studio preparing this special one off set featuring synths, laptops, drum machines and much more for a psychedelic journey as never seen or heard before.

Shpongle ringmaster Raja Ram said, "...The set will be like three madmen sailing off in the middle of the night in a small boat without a compass, semi dangerous, not for the faint hearted or incontinent, a bare knuckle flight to unreality and back, super turbo charged, size thirteen shoes and an attitude to match.

"These are the cosmic three scientists of sound manipulation, sonic strangulation, loose underpants, and an enormous arsenal of sounds from the last 20 years of working together and the next 20 years of sorting out our differences, which are the same.

"A treat for sure, the unexpected, The Gollom in the attic, the Robot in the suitcase. This is a night to really shake the follicle of the bollicules, so try to forget to remember to forget, wake up dreaming, and come to the mightiest sound collage since the banning of sea shanties and Tibetan horns. Prometheus will set the fire, we will Hallucinate you, and Shpongle-ise you... surprise you....
