The Wombats are amongst the first acts announced for the sixth Lounge On The Farm held at Merton Farm, Nackington Lane, in Canterbury on Friday 6th to Sunday 8th of July 2012.

The Wombats
Held on a real, working farm, and with a family friendly atmosphere, the event is set to once again present a diverse and reputable line-up with a mixture of chart-topping acts, hot new bands, DJs and local talent including Emeli Sande, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Mystery Jets, Roots Manuva, David Rodigan, and Goldie.

Along with the return of the silent disco and the vintage market, Lounge on the Farm 2012 will see the return of many more festival favourites along with new additions, with more announcements to be made soon.

All food and drink on site is 100% locally sourced: the cows are raised all year on Merton Farm to become the burgers and steaks served on site and all the traditional ciders and ales served at the Meadows Bar are locally brewed. The award winning food market is set to return, plus the Farmhouse Restaurant will once again be relocating from its Canterbury HQ over to Merton Farm especially for the occasion.

The Meadows Area will once again be transformed into a wonderland of pop up stalls, pieces and features from local students and Kent creatives, and a new forest pathway between the Main Arena and The Meadows will be constructed. Exciting plans are already in place for large scale art installations - more details of which to come.

The premiere camping area is set to include more pitches for Yurts, Bell Tents and Teepee's, luxury toilets and showers, plus an appointed Boutique area manager to personally deal with all campers. Prices start at £395 for a 4 person Bell Tent.

Early bird adult weekend ticket are priced at £110 for a two week period, youth tickets (aged 13-17 on 06/07/2012) are priced at £95, children (aged under 13 on 06/07/2012) can attend free, family tickets which allow entrance of 2 x adults and 2 x kids (aged 13 - 17 years) are priced at £310, or £210 if the two children are aged under 13 years. A campervan/mobile caravan ticket is priced at £50. There are also payment plan tickets available.
