Soundgarden have confirmed themselves for next summer's Rock am Ring in Germany, on their Facebook page (here).

Chris Cornell and the Seattle rockers are set to perform at the 2012 Germany "Rock Am Ring" on Friday 1st June.

They are not yet officially announced, the first confirmed acts are headliners Metallica playing the 'Black Album', and Die Toten Hosen celebrating their 30th anniversary. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Rock am Ring takes place over 3 days from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd June 2012, and showcases acts from the international live music scene at the Nurburgring in the Eifel mountains.
