Rock am Ring is Germany's most popular festival event. The festival will take place over 3 days from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd June 2012, acts from the international live music scene appear at the Nurburgring in the Eifel mountains.

Line-up

The latest acts to be announced are Cypress Hill, Keane, Peter Doherty, Shinedown, Mastodon, Rival Sons, Deichkind, and Chase & Status.

They join headliners Linkin Park, Metallica playing the 'Black Album', and Die Toten Hosen celebrating their 30th anniversary. Plus Soundgarden, Billy Talent, Gossip, The Offspring, Skrillex, Tenacious D, A$AP Rocky, Anthrax, Azealia Banks, Cancer Bats, Cro, Crystal Castles, DevilDriver, Dropkick Murphys, Evanescence, Example, Fiva & Das Phantom Orchester, FM Belfast, Ghost, Gojira, Graveyard, Halestorm, Hoffmaestro, Lower Than Atlantis, Maximo Park, Periphery, Refused, Rise To Remain, Steel Panther, The Hives, The Maccabees, The Rifles, The Ting Tings, Tinie Tempah, Deicide, MIA (German band), Dick Brave & the Backbeats, Guano Apes, Donots, Lexy & K-Paul, Kasabian, The Subways, Enter Shikari, Motorhead, Marilyn Manson, Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, and Opeth. Tickets

Tickets were priced at 175 euros (approx £145) including any fees, camping and parking, and 5 euro garbage deposit, and have SOLD OUT.
