A limited number of specially gift-wrapped Christmas festival tickets go on sale from 9am today, Friday 11th November for next summer's Kendal Calling.

The tickets will be frozen at last year's price of £95 (a saving of £4) for this festive sale, with tickets for children aged 11-15 years priced at £50, and under 11's able to attend for free.

Tickets bought over this period will be delivered wrapped in a Christmas card designed specially for the festival by Woody from British Sea Power. Normal priced tickets will go on general sale in early 2012.

Now in its seventh year, the wholly independent Kendal Calling is held in the Lake District, over the weekend of Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July, with early entry available on Thursday. Kendal Calling returns to the Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, in East Cumbria, and offers multiple stages and areas. The family friendly event offers 3 days of dancing, juggling, contortionists, comedy, site art and much more.
