The tickets will be frozen at last year's price of £95 (a saving of £4) for this festive sale, with tickets for children aged 11-15 years priced at £50, and under 11's able to attend for free. eFestivals will have links for you to buy tickets when they go on sale.

Tickets bought over this period will be delivered wrapped in a Christmas card designed specially for the festival by Woody from British Sea Power. Normal priced tickets will go on general sale in early 2012.

Kendal Calling is also holding a charity auction with instruments signed by Kendal Calling headliners under the hammer, bidding began on eBay yesterday, Tuesday 1st November. The auction will raise money for Cancer Research, Sue Ryder North West, NSPCC, Tiger Awareness and the WWF.

Up for grabs are unique guitars signed by headliners at this year's festival. Artists who tagged the instruments included Blondie (a bright pink electric guitar), The Cribs, Levellers, Frank Turner, Craig Charles, Beardyman, Kitty Daisy & Lewis plus many more.
