Bestival has announced that Friendly Fires will create a unique one-off live experience at the RizLab hosted arena on Friday evening, exploring the past, present and future of a mystery musical genre.

Friendly Fires are the first act confirmed for a three day line-up at the RizLab where special guests will be getting experimental with unique showcases.

Rob da Bank sayid, "I've been following Friendly Fires since I played out their early demos on Radio 1 and am a devoted fan of all their albums! The boys have been at most of the Bestivals so far either playing live, DJing or raving and I'm delighted they're coming back with what promises to be a true one off and the kind of experience I really love seeing created at Besti. Best start queuing early!"

Organisers have also confirmed that for the fifth year running Time for Tease returns to Bestival with more tea sittings, surprises and midnight cabaret shows, with bookings for tea possible online from 1st August for tea, or a walk in queue for every sitting, and a less formal Twilight Tease also confirmed.

In addition Dr Sketchy's - Saucy Life Drawing has also been announced offering cabaret with an 80's extravaganza, 'C30, C60, C80's Go', on Friday night, a tribute to some of the greatest Rock Stars, Pop Stars and Diva's of the last century on the Diva Face Off on Saturday, whilst Sunday sees them host a yuletide rave-up with Sometimes Christmas Comes in... September.

This year's Bestival which happens at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th of September 2011 features Pendulum headlining the Friday, with The Cure headlining the Saturday while Primal Scream present 'Screamadelica' in its entirety in the Big Top, and Bjork closes the festival on the Sunday.

Also confirmed are Brian Wilson, Magnetic Man, Robyn, Crystal Castles, DJ Shadow, Katy B, LFO, Omar Souleyman + Sublime Frequencies, 65daysofstatic, Cranes, Boys Noize, Diplo, A-Trak, Norman Jay, Grandmaster Flash, David Rodigan, 2 Bears, Carte Blanche (DJ Mehdi & Riton), Pantha Du Prince, and The Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain, and many more.

An adult ticket is priced at £170. Ticket holders aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*.

Children aged 13 to 15 tickets are priced at £85. Age 13 to 15 Child Tickets are for anyone aged 13 to 15 on 08/09/2011. Child ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*.

Age 12 & Under Child Tickets: FREE (ticket required) Age 12 & Under Child Tickets are for anyone aged 12 and under on 08/09/2011. Child Ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*. All Tickets include camping.

*NB: One ticket holding parent or guardian can only accompany up to 4 people under the age of 18.

Campervan Tickets are priced at £65 (per vehicle) and are strictly limited to 1 per transaction/customer. Your Campervan must be specially adapted for people to stay in (which does not include transit vans with a mattress in the back or 4x4s with the seats folded down). If your vehicle is longer than 7 metres you will need to purchase two Campervan Tickets. Cars will not be allowed into the Campervan area at any time so consequentially Caravans, Trailer Tents etc are not permitted.
