The first headliner for the seventh Loopallu which takes place in a fortnight on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th September 2011 at Ullapool, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland has been confirmed as The Feeling.

Also confirmed is the Fratellis' frontman Jon Fratelli playing with a full band, including two drummers. Also announced are the recently reformed The Bluebells and Loopallu regulars Ullapool Pipe Band who will be kicking off proceedings.

The festival has a 2500 capacity. Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom Loopallu has activities for all ages in addition to the music. The festival also offers local food and drink along with fringe events throughout the village.

Tickets for this year are priced at £60 without camping, or £70 with weekend camping, and caravan tickets are priced at £25. Under-12s are free, though everyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
