Kaiser Chiefs have announced a one-off hometown stadium show at Kirkstall Abbey on Saturday 10th September.

The band plan to play across the summer at various festivals here and abroad but will return to the UK with another landmark show.

A full supporting cast will be announced soon and tickets go on sale on Friday June 10th at 9.30am and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. The band have already confirmed some headline shows and festival appearances for summer.

Earlier this week the band made a surprise return by unexpectedly releasing a brand new single 'Little Shocks' via their website. The track was premiered exclusively on Zane Lowe's show on Monday 30th May and was instantly made his 'Hottest Record in the World', he even felt compelled to play it twice within half an hour. The song is the first music to be heard from the band's fourth album 'The Future Is Medieval' which was released today on their own website and allows fans to choose 10 tracks from a selection of 20 for their own personalized album, and make money from the record.
