The dates for the eighth Jersey Live are confirmed as Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September 2011. The site's opening and closing hours are midday to midnight on Saturday and midday to 11pm on Sunday.

On Saturday 3rd September British ska legends and icons of the '2 Tone' movement, Madness, will headline the Main Stage, making their first ever appearance in Jersey. Led by frontman Graham 'Suggs' McPherson, the band are responsible for some of the most recognisable hits of the 70s and 80s including 'One Step Beyond', 'Driving in my Car', 'Baggy Trousers' and 'House of Fun.'

Sunday night's headliner will be Plan B, who last year was forced to cancel his scheduled Jersey Live appearance due to filming commitments, will finally make his Jersey debut this September.

Other acts performing over the festival weekend are The Streets supporting Madness on the Main Stage, opening the Main Stage on Sunday afternoon will be The Beat, with Wretch 32 also confirmed for that stage.

The Dance Arena will play host to Nero, Danny Byrd & Dynamite MC, Toddla T & MC Serocee, and Breakage.

Jersey Live co-organiser Warren Holt said, "After the success of Paul Weller last year, we were really keen to book another legendary British band and have been after Madness for a while now. They really fit the bill for Jersey Live, as young and old music fans will be familiar with their back catalogue, and they’re just such a perfect party band."

Jersey Live co-organiser Warren Le Sueur added, "Getting Plan B is really fantastic for us after the disappointment of losing him from last year's bill. He's even bigger than he was in 2010, especially with him winning the Brit Award recently, so maybe these things happen for a reason! We've got loads, loads more announcements to make too, and I think by the time we're done with the line up there'll be something for everyone yet again."

The early bird tickets offer has ended. Tickets will go on sale on Sunday 1st May, prices have not yet been confirmed.
