Maximo Park have been announced as Sunday night headliners at Y-Not Festival, which takes place from Friday 5th until Sunday 8th August near Matlock in Derbyshire.

Maximo Park
The north eastern based band, who boast two Double Platinum Albums, 'A Certain Trigger' and 'Our Earthly Pleasures' have been together since 2000 and have released a total of 3 albums, with hit songs 'Apply Some Pressure' and 'Graffiti' sure to go down a treat with the Y-Not crowd.

Organisers said "We're ecstatic with the booking. Maximo Park are a great high profile band to cap a lineup of new and exciting music – just what Y Not is about."

Other confirmed acts for the weekend include The Milk, Stagecoach, Karima Francis, and Tellison. This year's event will host over 80 artists across 3 stages. The rest of the line-up will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The festival, now in its sixth year, has a capacity of 5000 people, and aside from the music, there is a whole host of activities including yoga, African dancing, a pub quiz, dodgems and much more!

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £65, and a joint ticket with their sister festival '2000trees' in Cheltenham is priced at £100. Children aged 0 to 10 years old can go free but require a ticket. To buy tickets, click here.
