Seasick Steve will headline the Friday night of this year's Fairport's Cropredy Convention.

Seasick Steve will be Cropredy's Friday headlining act. Also confirmed for the bill are Liverpool's The Coral on Friday evening, and The Shee and Lau, both on Saturday.

They join the previously announced Thursday's headline act is UB40, with Hayseed Dixie, Lau, ahab, Home Service, Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts, and hosts Fairport Convention making two appearances opening the festival as Fairport Acoustic Convention and closing the show as is traditional, with many more yet to be announced. The annual festival of folk and rock music is held on the edge of the village of Cropredy, and run by Fairport Convention. This year's 31st anniversary of the festival will take place from Thursday 11th until Saturday 13 August 2011.

Tickets for Fairport's Cropredy Convention go on sale in Tuesday 1st March 2011. As in previous years, the festival offers three-day (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) tickets, two-day (Friday and Saturday) tickets, and Saturday-only tickets.
