The Whip, The Skints, Cosmo Jarvis, and X-Factor's Wagner are amongst the latest additions for Bearded Theory which takes place this year from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th May 2011.

The Whip (Other Stage)
The latest additions to the line-up are confirmed as The Whip, The Skints, The Last Republic, Sonic Boom Six, Cosmo Jarvis, and Wagner who will perform in the 'family-friendly' Sunday lunchtime slot on the 2nd stage, continuing a trend set by The Cheeky Girls last year.

As well as performing live, Wagner will be this year's special guest curator at the festival's annual World Record Attempt For People Wearing False Beards, and also do an extended meet and greet in the festival's signing tent.

Wagner said, "I can't wait to perform at my first ever music festival, Bearded Theory. Being the only pop act on the bill, I know expectations are high, but I will do the festival proud. I look forward to seeing all my fans there!"

Rich Bryan from Bearded Theory Festival promoter Spring Music added, "Bearded Theory Festival is all about having fun. We took a massive gamble on booking The Cheeky Girls last year and it was a rip-roaring success. This year we can't wait for Wagner to be THE talking point at the festival."

Bearded Theory's new home in the surroundings of Kedleston Park will play host to more than 100 acts including the UK's only 2011 festival performance in 5 years by The Waterboys, alongside a homecoming show from local band Alabama 3, The Whip, The Skints, The Last Republic, Sonic Boom 6, Cosmo Jarvis, Mama Rosin, The Undertones, Dirty Revolution, Dub Pistols, Justin Sullivan, Ed Tangent, Transglobal Underground, Neck, The Beat, Adrian Edmondson's folk act, The Bad Shepherds and over 100 more. The Friday headliner will be released shortly. For the line-up details as available please click here.
