Next year's Standon Calling held on the grounds of a 16th Century Hertfordshire manor house has revealed it is changing the date for next year's Standon Calling to the following weekend from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th August 2011.

The festival's website has published the following statement:
"Due to an unprecedented amount of festival activity on the 5-7 August we are changing the date for next year's Standon Calling to the following weekend: the 11-14 August. It just would have proved impossible for all our crew to work on Standon Calling without cancelling their commitments to other events. This way we know we'll be able to provide you with the best Standon experience possible."
There are no acts confirmed yet for the event, and next year's theme has not yet been revealed. Early bird adult weekend tickets with camping are on sale priced at £95, a teen (13-17) ticket is priced at £75, children aged 12 and under can go free. Car parking tickets are priced at £5.

Anybody who has already purchased tickets and can't make the new dates is asked to email [email protected] to arrange a refund.

There are numerous stages and the odd unexpected stage appearing from nowhere. The festival boasts a number of bars, one of which is hewn out of an enormous oak tree, secret areas, interactive theatre, swimming pool (with underwater dance area), boutique camping (beach huts, yurts and tipis), kids area, and festival food.
