The Qemists top the billing of new names added to the line-up at Freeze Festival, the snow sport and music event which returns to Battersea Power Station in London at the end of the month, from Friday 29th October to Sunday 31st October.

The Qemists
The Qemists are confirmed as headliners of the Relentless stage on Friday, with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Morning Parade, and Flash Fiktion also added to the bill for that day.

The Skints have been added to Saturday's line-up with Turbowolf, Dear Superstar added to the Sunday line-up.

The event, now in its third year, sees several of the world's best winter sports athletes - fresh from the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver – fiercely competing in a world class snowboarding and freeski event.

The festival plays host to live music acts, after all the sports are completed, across the three days on two stages. Acts confirmed for 2010 are headliners Roni Size, Mark Ronson and the Business Intl., and Pendlumu (DJ Set) plus New Young Pony Club, I Blame Coco, Hadouken!, Bedouin Soundclash, Skindred, The Nextmen, MC Wrec, Krafty Kuts, MC Dynamite, Scratch Perverts, Jaguar Skills, Charlie G, DJ Klimax, and MC Benny C, with more to be announced. Battersea Power Station will be transformed into a real life ski resort with a Halloween Fancy Dress party on Saturday, an Arctic Disco, the O’Neill 'Deeper' movie premiere, mountain bikes, alpine themed bars, Jagermeister Ice Truck and Bar, and DJ Sets.

Skiers and Snowboarders compete throughout the weekend. On Friday competitions include Whitelines Battle of Britain Snowboard Competition, Ski Union Battle Of Britain Ski Competition, and World Cup Snowboard Practice. On Saturday it's International Freestyle Skiing Practice, and World Cup Snowboarding with Torstein Horgmo, Seb Toutant, Gjermund Braten, Staale Sandbech, and Roope Tonteri. The final day hosts the Snowboard team event where 5 man team’s go head to head, and Freestyle Ski Event featuring Dumont, Olsson, Wester, Henshaw, and Brown.

The focal point of the event is the 17m table top real snow jump created for the LG London Big Air Event, part of the LG FIS (International Ski Federation) World Cup. While this event is for snowboarders there will also be some amazing skiing action.
