Freeze Festival (formerly London Freeze) the snow sport and music event returns to Battersea Power Station in London from Friday 29th October to Sunday 31st October.

Line-up

After all the sports are completed the festival plays host to live music acts across the three days on two stages. Acts confirmed for 2010 are headliners Roni Size, Mark Ronson and the Business Intl., and Pendlumu (DJ Set) plus New Young Pony Club, DJ Yoda, I Blame Coco, Hadouken!, The Qemists, Bedouin Soundclash, Skindred, The Nextmen, MC Wrec, Krafty Kuts, MC Dynamite, Scratch Perverts, Jaguar Skills, MNDR, Starsmith (DJ Set), Rose Elinor Dougall, and more, with acts still to be announced. Events

Battersea Power Station will be transformed into a real life ski resort with a Halloween Fancy Dress party on Saturday, an Arctic Disco, the O’Neill 'Deeper' movie premiere, mountain bikes, Jagermeister Ice Truck and Bar, and DJ Sets.

Skiers and Snowboarders compete throughout the weekend. On Friday competitions include Whitelines Battle of Britain Snowboard Competition, Ski Union Battle Of Britain Ski Competition, and World Cup Snowboard Practice. On Saturday it's International Freestyle Skiing Practice, and World Cup Snowboarding with Torstein Horgmo, Seb Toutant, Gjermund Braten, Staale Sandbech, and Roope Tonteri. The final day hosts the Snowboard team event where 5 man team’s go head to head, and Freestyle Ski Event featuring Dumont, Olsson, Wester, Henshaw, and Brown.

The focal point of the event is the 17m table top real snow jump created for the LG London Big Air Event, part of the LG FIS (International Ski Federation) World Cup. While this event is for snowboarders there will also be some amazing skiing action. The run down of events includes The LG London Big Air, The International Freestyle Ski Event, and The Battle of Britain (BOB).

3 Day Pass: Adult £86 - Children (8-13) £35.
Adult day ticket (for any day) £36, Children (6-14) £15.
Children aged 7 and under can enter this event for free and do not need a ticket. Please note all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult of 18 or over.

Elsewhere there will be a resort style retail village with the brands showcasing their latest stock and selling all the new winter gear for the season ahead. Around the event there will be a number of bars and caterers serving up food and icy cold pints with Apres style resort bars and the winter themed chill out zones.

Contests

The festival kicks off on Friday 29th Oct with a Battle of Britain ski and snowboard contest. The best of British talent will battle it out for the title of top dog in the UK. Last year's winner's Paddy Graham and Jamie Nicholls will return to defend their titles.

On Saturday 30th Oct the LG London Big Air event, part of the FIS LG Snowboard World Cup, takes centre stage: the main competition for snowboarders. All riders taking part can score crucial ratings points in their quest to become World Champions. Last year's event winner and World Cup Champion, Stefan Gimpl (AUT) will be returning to defend his title.

The International Freestyle Ski event on Sunday 31st Oct features some of the world's most accomplished skiers, with 2009 winner Russ Henshaw confirmed to appear at this year's event. Other names competing for the $10,000 include Bobby Brown, Jacob Wester and Simon Dumont.
