John Cooper Clarke, Omar Souleyman, Timber Timbre, and more for Electric Picnic

Omar Souleyman, Caribou, John Cooper Clarke, and Timber Timbre are amongst the acts confirmed for the Body and Soul line-up at Ireland's Electric Picnic.

Omar Souleyman will be bringing his Syrian beats & music to Body and Soul at Electric Picnic leading a programme that focuses as much on showcasing up-and-coming talent as well as a line up of established homegrown and international artists as well as surprise special guests.

Body and Soul Village's musical line-up for this year's Electric Picnic festival also includes Caribou, John Cooper Clarke, Cymande, Peverelist, Thread Pulls, Low Sea, and Ireland's ownJennifer Evans & the Ripe Intent, John Smith, Daithi O'Dronai, Jimmy Penguin, Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill, Iarla O Lionaird, and Canadians Timber Timbre.

Body and Soul will have a new stage this year built by artists Shrine who will make a permanent installation from recycled materials, tin cans, bottle caps, and broken chandeliers.

The B&S Village returns to electric Picnic as a haven inside the festival: a meandering, colourful wonderland of music stages, visual installations, massage tents, cocoons, disco corners, food, and more to explore.

Resident Do LaB DJs from L.A will be firing up the party lights once again with their trademark explosive music alongside a theatrical extravaganza by Lucent Dossier.

This year Zen Gardens and Earth Spirit will feature at B&S Village offering 30 hand picked therapists, the Panchammas Acoustic Tipi and Sauna, creative workshops, yoga theatre, permaculture, organic gardening, environmental art, herb lore&sound, shamanic journeys and pretty pockets.

Electric Picnic is held from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September at Stradbally Hall Estate, Co Laois. Tickets are priced at 240 euros for an adult weekend ticket. Family Camping Tickets, and Campervan Tickets priced at 60 euros are also available.
