Electric Picnic announces Arcadia, and Salty Dog acts

The McMash Clan, Soul of Man, Arveene, Tucan, and more

Arcadia who bring their Afterburner structure to Electric Picnic to throw its golden flames 8 metres high have announced the first acts to appear once the sun starts to set at the Irish festival.

There will be performers and acrobats on the 6 'tentacles' and a constant line-up of DJs throughout the night including Skuzzi Port (live), Fernado Tomas, Lectrosoul, The McMash Clan, Arveene, Soul of Man, Noise Control (live), DJ Wonka, Noisy Boy & MC Carasel, Worries Outernational, Mixhell (live), The Japanese Popstars, and Splitloop.

Acts have also been confirmed for The Salty Dog, a sea-beaten shipwreck marooned in the woods at Stradbally Hall, offers a late-night lock-in after-gig party at this year's Electric Picnic. Joining a line-up that includes the previously announced Seasick Steve, and The Mighty Stef, are Jerry Fish & the Mudbug Club, Tucan, and Joel Plaskett plus more acts yet to be announced to appear alongside rum-fuelled sea shanties collectives, rasping folksters and big-top emcees, caribbean wastrels, and gravelly maritime pranksters.

Electric Picnic is held from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th September at Stradbally Hall Estate, Co Laois. Tickets are priced at 240 euros for an adult weekend ticket. Family Camping Tickets, and Campervan Tickets priced at 60 euros are also available.
