This year's Sellindge Music Festival has been cancelled.

The Sellindge Music Festival organisers have announced that the festival has been cancelled. This is due to a change in policy at PayPal which has resulted in a large amount of their funding being held until after the event. Funding that was essential to make the event run. Without that money organisers have no option but to cancel now.

The festival was due to take place at Hope Farm, Sellindge, near Ashford in Kent, and takes place from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June 2010.

Festival organisers are currently looking at their accounts and putting in place mechanisms for refunding. Festival goers who purchased tickets via PayPal or Google Checkout, are asked to log into their account and follow their refunds procedure.

Those who bought tickets by any other means will be contacted by organisers as soon as possible with details of how to proceed.

The acts who were confirmed included headliners Reverend and the Makers on Saturday, and Lee 'Scratch' Perry on Sunday. Other acts include Johnny Foreigner, Laura Vane, The Foxes, Mean Poppa Lean, Floors & Walls, Lee Westwood, The Wasp Factory, Coda Luna, and more.
