Nozstock have announced that comedian Phill Jupitus will be singing with The Blockheads live at this year's festival, in his only festival appearance of the year.

The Blockheads featuring Phill Jupitus
The Blockheads and Phill Jupitus will be an exclusive festival performance. Phill has been an 'honorary Blockhead' ever since he met Ian and the band at what was to be their last ever show at The Palladium in December 2000. Since that time he has performed many times with the band as a guest vocalist. However, in recent years due to Phill's tv, theatre and radio commitments those opportunities have been limited, and this will be a rare chance to see both acts performing together.

In addition festival organisers have just confirmed The King Blues one of the most hotly tipped ska fused rock bands around, will also be making an appearance at the festival which takes place at 17th century farm near Bromyard, in Herefordshire from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th July 2010.

Nozstock invites festival goers on a journey 'Through The Looking Glass' embracing everything wonderful about English eccentricity and eclecticism whilst encapsulating the true spirit of fun and adventure.

Previously confirmed acts include Sub Focus, Caspa (feat. MC Rod Azlan), Sonny Wharton, High Contrast, The Anomalies, Koncept, Sicknote, DJ Dex, Octo Pi, Urban Tramper, Karma Junkie, Vivian Coma, and Peter Bruntnell with more to be announced. For the full line-up to-date, please click here.

Nozstock Festival retains a family friendly atmosphere that people return to year on year. The festival incorporates four stages, three dance arenas, a theatre and comedy area with round the clock giggles and a new kind of burlesque glamour, alongside a cinema, kids corner, two bars, food and drink, diverse stalls and circus skills.

An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £75, a student weekend (on presentation of a valid NUS card) ticket is priced at £70, a teen weekend (aged 13-17 yrs, ID will be requested on presentation) is priced at £55. Children aged 12 years and under can attend for free. A camper/Live-in vehicle pass is priced at £23.50 (Camper Van passes must be bought before the festival). To buy tickets, click here.

As well as an acoustic area and bars and café nestled amidst the trees and surrounded by colour, art and madness, expect two dance arenas providing hip hop, drum 'n' bass and trance through to the early hours. 2010 looks set to be more expansive, varied and jam packed with even more quality entertainment than before – with new stages popping up each year, visual and sonic treats await. Expect some more surprises.
