Frank Turner and Babylon Circus announced for Larmer Tree

Folk/punk artist Frank Turner and French ska outfit Babylon Circus are the final acts to be added to the 20th anniversary Larmer Tree Festival line-up.

Frank Turner will be making a stop at the Victorian Larmer Tree Gardens on Thursday 15th July. Known for his witty, observational and often heartfelt lyrics, Frank will make a very special appearance before Robert Cray on the festival's main stage.

French ten-piece Babylon Circus will bring the main stage to a close on Saturday 17th July. Musical menagerie Babylon Circus bring their infectious fusion of ska, reggae, punk, jazz and swing to the festival, further signifying the diverse variety of acts that Larmer Tree offer above any other summer music festival.

With these final additions to the festival, Larmer Tree is looking to celebrate its 20th anniversary with style. Founder and co-director James Shepard said, "We were extremely keen to get Frank on the bill. After his recent sell out tour of the country, we’re so happy one the UK's hardest working musicians has chosen to spend part of his summer with us! The addition of Babylon Circus once again shows the incredible range of acts we programme - it's going to be an unforgettable festival!"

Larmer Tree Festival balances leading names in music and comedy alongside a programme of theatre and art for festival goers of all ages. Acts announced so far include Toots and the Maytals, Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra with special guest Alison Moyet, Martha Wainwright, Robert Cray, Toumani Diabate, Newton Faulkner, Oysterband, Cornershop, The Unthanks, Tunng, Shooglenifty, Ade Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds, Easy Star All-Stars, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Rango, Chumbawamba, Dub Pistols, James Yuill, and many more. An intimate crowd of only 4,000, five family friendly days of eclectic music, street theatre and workshops set in the spectacular backdrop of Larmer Tree Gardens, in Dorest with its resident peacocks and macaws. The dates for the 20th birthday of this festival of acoustic folk and world music, but also roots, blues, jazz, Americana, reggae are confirmed as Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th July.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £184 for all 5 days, £150 for 4 days, and £120 for 3 days, there are Youth (age 11-17), and Child (age 5-10) options also available. Day tickets are priced from £30 to £58 dependant on day. Larmer Tree ticket prices include free parking and camping for tents, caravans and campervans and under 5's are free.
