Newton Faulkner has been confirmed as appearing on the first night of the 20th Anniversary celebration of Larmer Tree Festival.

Newton Faulkner will take to the stage before headline act Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra on Wednesday 14th July. Well known for tapping, finger-picking and hitting the guitar, he will also treat audiences to a more intimate late-night set on the ARC Stage.

Today's announcement also reveals that <Ian King, Will Pound & Dan Walsh, Tankus the Henge, Ruth Theodore, and Chavo are also confirmed for the festival which will happening from Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th July 2010 at Larmer Tree Gardens, nr. Tollard Royal, on the Wiltshire/Dorset border.

Confirmed acts include Toots & The Maytals, Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Oysterband, Shooglenifty, The Bad Shepherds, The Bookhouse Boys, Goldheart Assembly, Skip 'Little Axe' McDonald, The Urban Voodoo Machine, Billy Vincent, Roots Union, Emily Barker, Wheeler Street, The Cubical, Rita Hosking, Voluntary Butler Scheme, Sweet Baboo, Mik Artistik's Ego Trip, Dr Butler's Hatstand Medicine Band, Kill it Kid, Alex Roberts and more. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £184 for all 5 days, £150 for 4 days, and £120 for 3 days, there are Youth (age 11-17), and Child (age 5-10) options also available. Day tickets are priced from £30 to £58 dependant on day. Larmer Tree ticket prices include free parking and camping for tents, caravans and campervans and under 5's are free.
