Organisers have released a sneak preview of this year's 30th anniversary Fairport's Cropredy Convention line-up which includes a raft of top acts including Little Feat, Rick Wakeman, and Bellowhead.

The full line-up of acts at Fairport's Cropredy Convention is still expected to be announced on Monday 1st March 2010, however organisers have released a few names early. These include classic American rockers Little Feat who will be playing Cropredy for the first time, and keyboard maestro Rick Wakeman appearing with his band.

It's also confirmed that Bellowhead will be headlining on the Friday night with Mabon, and American young country bluegrass outfit The Dixie Bee-Liners, and The Tindalls, playing earlier that day.

Announced for Thursday are 2-tone ska legends The Selecter, Thea Gilmore, and Leatherat.

Saturday's line-up will include Martyn Joseph, The Martin Taylor Quartet, Breabach, and Little Johnny England.

As is traditional the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Musician of the Year Award Winner will be appearing, this year James Findlay won the accolade.

A full line-up is expected soon including a special Thursday night headline act for this year's 30th anniversary of the festival which will take place from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th August 2010.

Ticket prices have not yet been announced and the Cropredy box office will open on Monday 1st March 2010. It's a very friendly festival with great ales, no sell-out out to rampant commercialism, and no huge ticket prices.
