Fatboy Slim, Doves, Ian Brown, and more have been confirmed for this summer's Rock Ness.

Fatboy Slim
Fatboy Slim was confirmed as the third headline act, earlier today by The BBC, (here), joining the previously announced headliners The Strokes, and Leftfield, at the music festival near Inverness.

The latest wave of new acts also confirmed today are Doves, Ian Brown, Booka Shade, The Bloody Beetroots, Vitalic, Aeroplane, Plan B, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, The Cuban Brothers, Dub Pistols, and The Japanese Popstars.

Jim King, Festival Director said, "We're delighted with the Rock Ness line-up this year - the best we've had to date, and we're particularly looking forward to having BBC Radio 1 on board as our Official Radio Partner. We have some really great indie bands lined up with The Strokes, Doves and Ian Brown and there's still more bands to add. The electronic acts are once again the very best you are going to hear anywhere in the world with Leftfield undoubtedly the must see gig of the year. We're also injecting some real energy into the show with bands like Chase & Status and Enter Shikari. On top of all this Fatboy is back to his spiritual home where he's never disappointed. Rock Ness is going to be the best and the biggest party in Scotland this summer and we can't wait."

Meanwhile there's been more news about the Leftfield appearance, whilst the sound system will be at Rock Ness, one half of the duo, Paul Daley, will not. Neil Barnes will undertake this, and further headline festival shows to be announced, without Daley, as he has other recording commitments this summer. Barnes is currently assembling a new line-up for Leftfield for these shows.

These acts join the line-up of The Strokes, Leftfield, Chase & Status, Boys Noize, Hadouken!, 2manydjs, Soulwax, Friendly Fires, Club 75 (featuring Xavier de Rosnay, DJ Mehdi, and Busy P), Annie Mac, and Rob da Bank, with many more names still to be added.

The three-day long Rock Ness offers an eclectic selection of bands in a beautiful location on the banks of Loch Ness near Inverness, in Scotland from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June.

Non camping tickets are priced as follows: £60 for day ticket (Friday £55), £110 for 2 day (Sat + Sun) non camping ticket, or £135 for 3 day non camping ticket.
