High Voltage want to know what love is with Foreigner

plus Asia, Uriah Heep, Focus, and a host of rock legends

Foreigner along with Asia, and Uriah Heep, are amongst the latest acts to be announced for the new rock festival, High Voltage.

Confirmed for the Main Stage are Foreigner, one of the most popular rock bands of all time, with sales of over 50 million albums and a repertoire of worldwide hit singles including 'Cold As Ice', 'Double Vision', 'Waiting For A Girl Like You', 'Urgent', 'Hot Blooded' and 'Juke Box Hero' and worldwide No 1 'I Want To Know What... Love Is'. Let by British Guitarist Mick Jones and American singer Kelly Hansen the band join the festival line-up headlined by ZZ Top (Saturday), and Emerson, Lake & Palmer (Sunday).

London's Victoria Park will also play host to a host of rock legends on the second (Prog) Stage including Asia performing their iconic first album in its entirety for the first time, Uriah Heep performing Demons & Wizards, the Dutch Prog masters Focus reprising their legendary 'At The Rainbow' set from the 1973, Touchstone, The Reasoning, and Wishbone Ash.

High Voltage is a new rock festival set to take place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July 2010 in London's Victoria Park. The two-day festival will feature classic rock, progressive rock and metal acts with over 40 playing over three stages all hand picked by music magazine, Classic Rock.


Early bird tickets are priced at £120 for weekend tickets and £65 for day tickets). The early bird tickets will end on 31st December 2009. Standard tickets prices will be £130 for weekend tickets and £75 (for day tickets.

Early bird ticket purchasers will be able to upgrade their tickets with a host of options including accommodation, transport, parking and VIP bar access, from January 2010. Early bird tickets include a free festival laminate and the ability to fastrack queues on the day.

"If you can think it up, we can do it," says Scott Rowley. "We asked our readers what they'd like to see and we're taking the best of their ideas and making them happen. It's 30 years since the first Monsters Of Rock festival, and now, at last, rock fans have finally got a quality festival they can call their own."
