Keane announce Forest Concerts for 2010

Keane have announced a series of dates as part of The Forestry Commission's 2010 Forest Tours.

Keane have had three consecutive Number One albums 'Hopes and Fears' (2004), 'Under The Iron Sea' (2006) and 'Perfect Symmetry' (2008), garnering Brits, Grammy's and Ivor Novello Awards. They will be showcasing their hits including 'Everybody's Changing', 'Is It Any Wonder?', 'Crystal Ball', 'Somewhere Only We Know' and 'Spiralling'. As well as selling an impressive ten million albums the band's live reputation is marked by their huge sold out Arena tours and critical acclaim.

Keane will be performing on the following dates:
Thursday 10th June - Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk.
Friday 11th June - Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Nr Goudhurst, Kent.
Friday 18th June - Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
Saturday 19th June - Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nr Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire.
Friday 25th June - Dalby Forest, Nr Pickering, North Yorks.
Saturday 26th June - Cannock Chase Forest, Nr Rugeley, Staffordshire.

Tickets are priced at £32 and will go on sale at 9am on Friday 4th December 2009, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

The Forestry Commission is committed to taking woodlands to new audiences and making them relevant to people in new ways. The forest tour is self-sustaining, paying for itself, and any profit generated goes back into improving woodlands for both wildlife and the public to enjoy.

Money generated by Forestry Commission Live Music ticket sales is spent directly on the nation's woodlands, benefiting everything from butterflies to mountain bikers.
