Party Horse, and Wave Machines are amongst the final acts to be confirmed for next weekend's Wickerman Festival.

Party Horse
Party Horse will gallop on to the main stage on the Friday of the festival to entertain the early birds. Also appearing on the main stage will be Wave Machines. Playing on Saturday will be Luke Leighfield, and Sam Hird won his place on the stage through competitive heats organised by Oxjam.

Also added to the Scooter Tent are Scottish ska band The Hostiles. Whilst on the Ingrid Pit Spoken Word Stage Robert Cassani, Vladimir McTavish, and Ash Dickinson will be appearing.

The star of the Southern Scotland's festival is the Wickerman himself. This year the figure will be taller than previous incarnations, and the 40 foot giant has been woven into a representation of Rabbie Burns. This nod to Scottish Homecoming will be torched at midnight on Saturday 25th July.

The festival takes place on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of July 2009 on farmland, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland.

The Human League will headline the Friday night, The Zutons close the Saturday night, and Candi Staton plays the Sunday night. Headlining the Dance Tent will be Hot Chip DJs, with Danny Rampling, Meat Katie, Dylan Rhymes, Lee Coombs, Dopamine, Simon Jackson, Elite Force, G-mac, Believe, Silver Storic, and Kid Blue, Plus The Magic Numbers, Billy Bragg, Idlwild, Dreadzone, Zion Train, Utah Saints, The Dickies, O'Death, Kid British, Pearl and the Puppets, Luva Anna, We Were Promised Jetpacks, UK Subs, Goldblade, Anti Product, No 1 Station, Bombskare, Root System, and Penetration. There are many more acts still to be confirmed, expect over 100 acts in total. For the line-up details as available please click here.
