Sonisphere has announced music and comedy acts to perform in Bohemia Village. Located between the campsite and the main arena, Bohemia will kick off on Thursday afternoon, showcasing a wealth of alternative talent, as well as numerous other attractions.

The music stage of Bohemia is scheduled in order to not conflict musically with the bands on the main stages. Confirmed are debut UK performances of two acts spawned from Slipknot....

Shawn Crahan aka The Clown will be flying in from Iowa to bring his hotly tipped rock project Dirty Little Rabbits to UK audiences for the first time, a prospect The Clown is excited about: "I know all too well about how accepting and exciting UK audiences can be, so it makes sense that we’re bringing the art to them first. I look forward to bringing Dirty Little Rabbits to the world. The invasion begins..."

There's also Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, who will give a never-before-seen-in-the-UK solo acoustic performance. "I'm very excited to be a part of this festival." Says Corey, aka Slipknot's #8. "It'll be the first show of its kind I've ever done in the UK, and I think there are many fans who've waited long enough to see it. It's one of the greatest joys in the world to me (playing acoustic) and I cannot wait to get over there and share that with the fans."

In addition there's The Chapman Family, Dinosaur Pile Up, Fighting With Wire, Rolo Tomassi, Twin Atlantic, Attack! Attack!, and Cancer Bats with more exciting acts to be announced.

In addition to the musical talent on offer, Lou Saffire will host 6 hours of comedy across the weekend with some of the hottest names on the comedy circuit. Acts include Gary Delaney, Sean Percival, Sully O'Sullivan, Andrew O'Neil, Craig Campbell, Jason John Whitehead and Markus Birdman, along with comedians with a musical spin such as Duncan Oakley, Woody Bop Muddy and Ivan Brackenbury, with more to be announced.

Late night entertainment will include rock karaoke, as well as The Guitar Hero Metallica Experience, where Lars, Kirk, James and Rob wannabees get to compete for the chance to perform on the Main Stage to emulate their heroes' performances.

There's also The Monster Army Camp which will host the Monster Energy Drink Ball Of Steel Stunt Show by day, a high energy performance featuring three motorcycle riders freestyling inside a 14ft steel globe, with an MC and a DJ whipping the crowd up into a frenzy through the sound system. By night, DJ's take over the decks to pump out the music loud and proud while the revellers dance away till the early hours in front of the watchtower, surrounded by tanks. For the quieter types there's also a Silent Disco taking place in Bohemia's Music Stage, running for two hours on the Thursday and Friday and one hour on Saturday and Sunday. And there's a funfair with white knuckle rides, dodgems and arcades, tattoo and piercing facilities, market stalls, shisha cafes, massage, as well as areas to just hang and chill out with your friends, and a cinema showing a variety of rock-friendly films.

The event will have one main arena with a stage at either end. As well as Metallica, who top the bill on the Sunday with a full two-hour set, and Saturday headliners Linkin Park, also playing Knebworth are Nine Inch Nails, Bullet For My Valentine, Alice In Chains, Anthrax, Machine Head, Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Airbourne, Thin Lizzy, The Sword and Killing Joke.
