The event has joined forces with clubbing magazine Mixmag, to offer the first 5000 tickets on sale priced at £100 for all camping and weekend tickets.
Creamfields CEO James Barton said, "We're in the midst of a recession with most people having to tighten their belts, so we've made the first 5000 tickets as cheap as we possibly can. I hope this goes a little way to easing the cash burden for the people who have been there for us through thick and thin. On a first come first serve basis, it will be our most dedicated fans who will benefit."
The special offer ticket prices for 2009 are £100 for weekend tickets with or without camping. Day tickets are also available. Saturday day tickets are priced at £57.50, and Sunday day are £53.50.
Tickets will go on general sale at 9am this Friday, 3rd April, however, Mixmag readers can get tickets from today (Monday 30th March), to take advantage of this offer, and buy tickets, go to www.mixmag.net.
There are no confirmed acts yet for 2009, the first line-up announcement will be made on Friday 3rd April.
The clubbing world's large scale outdoor event returns in 2009 as a two day event like last year and will be taking place on August Bank Holiday Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2009, at the Daresbury Estate, Halton, in Cheshire.
