Carl Cox, and Tiga playing UK festival exclusives lead a huge line-up of acts for this year's Global Gathering.

They will be joined at the two day event by Paul van Dyk, Eric Prydz, John Digweed, Sasha, Richie Hawtin, Axwell, Dubfire, Erol Alkan, Fedde Le Grand, James Zabiela, Steve Angello, Sander Kleinenberg, and Markus Schulz.

Further additions include Sander Van Doorn, Nic Fanciulli, Judge Jules, ATB, Plump DJs, Digitalism, Stanton Warriors, Locodice, Scratch Perverts, DJ Yoda, Josh Wink, and Andy C.

The event will also play host to Mark Knight, Lisa Lashes, Danny Howells, Magda, Kissy Sell Out (live), Shapeshifters, Tidy Boys, John Dahlback, Chase & Status, DJ Hype, Utah Saints, and Sinden & Herve present The Count & Sinden (DJ set).

The line-up also includes High Contrast, Skream & Benga presents Magnetic Man, Andy Whitby, Rusko (live), Darren Styles & Breeze, DJ Marky, D Ramirez, Altern8, Gaiser, Friction, Sebastien Leger, Menno De Jong, Alex Kidd, Funkagenda, Jimmy Van M, and Fabio & Grooverider.

There will also be performances from Yousef, Micky Slim, Baby D (live), Dave Spoon, Hixxy, Noisia, Benny Benassi, Lisa Pin Up, Paul Thomas, Joel Mull, Sub Focus, Anne Savage, Caspa, Mary Anne Hobbs, Kutski, A.T.F.C, and Tom Middleton.

Also confirmed are DJ Sy & Gammer, Hatcha & N Type, Josh Gabriel, Micky Finn, Dougal, Proteus, Gareth Emery, Brisk & Ham, Nicky Blackmarket, Toddla T.

The new additions are completed by Chris Lake, Hazard, Guy J, Slipmatt, Rebekah, Pete Jordan, Jon Rundell, Mark Eteson, Kim Fai, Recon & Squad E, Mark H, Robbie Long, Darkfire Dub, Stu Allen, and Garry K & Vapour. There are still many more acts to be announced.

James Algate, Festival Organiser said, "This year's line-up offers the very best in electronic music. Having dedicated time to listen to feedback from our Global Gathering festival goers this year’s event will see the headliners playing longer sets than in previous years. With the addition of some exciting new talent, the introduction of our amazing new Godskitchen Boombox concept and a plethora of attractions and activities this summer's festival is set to keep you entertained or relaxed whatever your mood. This year's festival ticketing has also rung the changes and we have developed a deposit scheme to assist customers in the current climate."

The electronic acts previously announced for this year's line-up are The Prodigy, Orbital, and Pendulum who will headline and Armin Van Buuren and David Guetta. The ninth Global Gathering which takes place at Long Marston Airfield, nr. Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire on Friday 24th, and Saturday 25th July 2009.

This year organisers have announced a deposit ticketing scheme for this summer's festival that is on offer until midnight next Tuesday, 31st March. The ticket scheme allows festival goers to pay for tickets using an instalment ticketing system which allows people to put down a £50 deposit and pay the balance before midnight on Friday 15th May 2009.

New for 2009 is Godskitchen's 'Boombox' a futuristic DJ platform, The M-Nus Floor Arena, The Dubstep Terrace, and Fantazia's outdoor terrace. They join the retunrning Carl Cox 24-7 Arena, Bedrock Arena, Electric Arena, Polysexual Arena, Random Concept Arena, and the Spectrum Arena.

Considered the heavyweight champion of dance festivals, this over 18s only event covers the entire spectrum of dance music with musicians, DJs and performers entertaining up to 50,000 people with next generation technology, inter-galactic visuals, and sound systems guaranteed to take the crowd 'to another dimension'. Global Gathering offers a euphoric marathon of aural ecstasy from all ends of the dance spectrum including House, Trance, Leftfield, Breaks and much more.
