latest trio of acts added to Donington rock festival

Download have added ZZ Top, Killswitch Engage, and Marilyn Manson to this year's festival line-up.

The three latest acts added to the rock festival's line-up include legendary Texan blues-rockers ZZ Top who are one of the few bands in music history to retain the same original recording line up for nearly 40 years. They'll be makng their third appearance at Donington site, having performed at Monsters of Rock in 1983 and 1985 and will be rocking with hits such as 'Gimme All Your Lovin' with their trademark sunglasses, leathers and beards.

ZZ Top are joined by controversial shock-rocker Marilyn Manson who will be performing tracks from his new album 'The High End Of Low'. Also making their third Donington appearance are American metalcore outfit Killswitch Engage.

The trio of new confirmations join the previously confirmed acts for Download are headliners Slipknot and Def Leppard, joining them over the weekend will be Korn, Dragonforce, Devildriver, Motley Crue, Pendulum, The Prodigy, Whitesnake, Trivium, and Limp Bizkit. This year's Download festival returning for its seventh year, takes place over the weekend of Friday 12th to Sunday 14th June, at Donington Park, Castle Donington, Leicestershire.

Tickets are on sale priced as follows: a full weekend ticket is priced at £135, camping is an extra £25 (family camping is also available), car parking tickets are priced at £10 advance, £20 on the day, camper vans tickets are priced at £40, and lockers will be £11. Kids aged 12 or under will be eligible for concession rate tickets. These will only be available on the day from the on-site Box Office and there will be unlimited availability.
