Las Vegas foursome The Killers have been confirmed for Ireland's Oxegen festival.

The Killers
Festival goers can expect the band to showcase tracks from their third album 'Day and Age', and an impressive back catalogue of festival favourites. Last August The Killers performed at a sold out Marlay Park. The Killers first played at the Irish festival at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare back in 2004 when they headlined The New Band Stage. They made a return visit in 2007 and are back this year at the annual three day multi-stage music festival weekend held from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July.

The line-up includes the previously confirmed Kings of Leon, and Blur headliners, with Bloc Party, Snow Patrol, The Script, Katy Perry, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Peter Doherty, Elbow, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Ting Tings, White Lies, Fight Like Apes, Pendulum, and Jason Mraz.

The 'Early Bird' ticket offer has now closed, and tickets are currently not on sale. Tickets for Oxegen will go on general release on Friday 6th March at 8am.
