Ether Festival, which offers a fusion of music and technology for festival goers in April has announced the first acts for 2009 at the Southbank Centre, reports Teletext's Planet Sound.

David Byrne, Peaches, Royksopp, Mouse On Mars, Plaid, Noise Of Art, Fennesz, Rosy Parlane, CM Von Hausswolff, Heiner Goebbels, and De La Soul have all been revealed for this year's line-up.

The dates of the event have not yet been confirmed, but eFestivals expects it to run from Friday 10th until Friday 24th April and utilise both the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Royal Festival Hall.

Tickets for these shows are expected to go on sale on Friday 23rd January, and we will have links to buy when on sale.
