The Wychwood Music Festival which takes place from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May 2009 at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire have announced details of their early bird ticket offer as well as the first confirmed acts for the 2009 festival.

Bellowhead
The first act confirmed for Wychwood are the 11 piece folk dance festival favourites Bellowhead who will no doubt be showcasing tunes from their new album, Matachin, due out on Monday 22nd September.

Also exclusively announced today for the 2009 festival is the return of Asian fusionists Kissmet, who after their storming set in the Big Top this year, will be making a return to the festival this time on the mainstage.

Kissmet @ Wychwood
Wychwood has also announced that weekend tickets are available now priced at £95, a saving of £15 on the full price, and concessions at £72 which is a saving of £13 per ticket. Under 12s remain free, as does camping and parking! Those festival goers ordering now won't be charged by the festival until Sunday 30th November 30th, giving ticket buyers 3 months to budget, or 4 for payments by credit card.

Due to the hundreds of people who already brought tickets for next year at this years' event, the number of tickets available under this offer will be strictly limited, and will only be available while stocks last. Tickets can be bought via the Wychwood Festival office, on 01993 772580, or by downloading the application form from the website here.

Wychwood Festival is also running a competition where those ordering tickets before Monday 26th September will also be put in a draw to win one of two copies of Bellowhead's new album Matachin.
