The RocknRoots festival - CANCELLED 2008

Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th August 2008
St Arvans Field, Chepstow Racecourse, Chepstow, Monmouthshire, England MAP
£90 adult, £99 with camping; Children £15 camping £30; Kids£4 camping £5

The festival office for RocknRoots festival which was due to take place over this August Bank Holiday from Saturday 23rd August to Monday 25th August at Much Marcle, near Ross on Wye, Hereford has confirmed reports that the event is cancelled.

The festival office has confirmed that the event is cancelled but say they have no more news on why it has been stopped, and that the festival organisers are unavailable for comment.

With rain currently battering the country it looks likely that it is another victim of bad weather, although this has not been confirmed. The festival website has just been updated (here) to say:

The festival had a line-up that included Steve Cropper, Curved Air, Jefferson Starship, Marillion, Cerys Mathews, Eddie & The Hot Rods, Walter Trout & The Radicals, The Wurzels, Wayne Hussey (The Mission) and The Animals.

There is no news yet on ticket refunds.
