Belladrum Tartan Heart add The Long Blondes

Glam punk indie rockers The Long Blondes are amongst the latest additions to the line-up for Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival which happens in Inverness-shire, Scotland. The band's appearance at Bella is their only Scottish independent festival appearance this year.

Also added to the bill for the festival which runs from Friday 8th and Saturday 9th August are emerging indie band The Red Light Company, and is rockabilly singer-songwriter Pete Molinari.

The headline acts for 2008 are confirmed as Waterboys and Scouting For Girls. Idlewild, Jefferson Starship, Nouvelle Vague, Justin Currie, Edwyn Collins, Rachel Unthank & the Winterset, Kathryn Williams and Lisa Knapp are some of the latest artists confirmed. Now in its fifith year, Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music including an array of entertainment for children. Attractions include street theatre, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £80 for the weekend (includes parking and camping from 4 PM Thursday 7th to 1 PM Sunday 10th) or £50 for just Saturday (includes parking and camping from 9 AM Saturday 9th to 1 PM Sunday 10th). Children 12 and under enter free. Click here to buy.
