Brighton's Loop adds Four Tet, and Adem

plus other acts including Turbowolf, Jape, and Transformer

Loop the one-day music and digital art festival spread across four specially created performance areas in the heart of Brighton taking place on Saturday 16th August at Victoria Gardens, Brighton, East Sussex has added more names to the day's line-up.

Four Tet will be making a rare festival appearance at this year's event and also added to the expanded bill will be former band mate and fellow musical pioneer Adem. These new arrivals will be joined by Turbowolf, Jape, Brighton's own Transformer, as well as the much-rated Hereldeduke are also now confirmed. They will will be complemented by DJs including Casper C (fluokids) and Skull Juice, with several acts still to be announced.

They join the likes of New Young Pony Club, These New Puritans, Micachu, Primary 1, The Shoes, Midfield General, New Young Pony Club, Holy Fuck, Caribou, The Nostalgia 77 Octet, Peggy Sue And The Pirates, Fulborn Teversham and Planning To Rock are already confirmed, with many more acts to be announced shortly. They are billed alongside experimental leftfield acts, all complemented by innovative art with VJs, films and animation. For the line-up details as available please click here.

The seaside city will host a selection of bands and DJs alongside an abundance of cutting edge digital art and culture. After the site closes down in the day, the event morphs into LoopLate which has DJs and live performance around Brighton until the early hours.

Loop festival will be spread across four areas: the Hub and Futures tents in the main arena will play host to the most prominent acts, while Limits will provide an internal space for the more leftfield and experimental artists. Finally, artists known primarily for their electronic work will be displaying their mellower, even acoustic side in the intimate Loop Garden.

The programme will also include other aspects of digital culture, including animation, film, dance, theatre and installations, as well as VJ performances throughout the day.
