There have been more acts added to the bill for Lounge on the Farm festival, which takes place at Merton Farm in Canterbury from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th of July.

The newly added artists are Mystery Jets will be bringing their beautiful blend of indie pop to the main stage on Saturday. Taking on one of the main slots on Friday night will be Canada's new talents Holy Fuck, returning to Lounge on the Farm with a big bag of records in hand is Terry Hall to do a DJ set in the Hoedown on Sunday evening.

Showcasing their well-crafted folk songs on Saturday night will be Johnny Flynn And The Sussex Wit. Lounge on the Farm's Furthur Tent has Pest for the headlining slot for Friday, whilst Bonobo takes the Saturday headline slot, and Polar Bear the Sunday.

The latest names for The Sheep Dip include Eddie Argus (of Art Brut infamy) fronting both Glam Chops, and Future And The Boy, whilst his best mates Subliminal Girls also make an appearance.

Sunday at Lounge on the Farm has become Local Heroes' day with a whole host of acts playing who hail from Kent. Acts like Underground Heroes, Lupen Crook & The Murderbirds will be showing off Kent's finest offerings alongside Up C Down C, Brigadier Ambrose, Zombie Met Girl, Eben, Intraverse, What Would Jesus Drive, Hotrods n Dragsters, Seven Storey Down, Letters From London and The Suggestions.

With the headliners yet to be announced, Lounge on the Farm has the ethos of giving local bands and musicians a platform upon which to perform alongside established acts from around the country.

The bands who have been confirmed already include The Bees, Findlay Brown, The Shortwave Set, Art Brut, Black Kids, Pete Molinari, Sonny J, Sargasso Trio, Lightspeed Champion, The Bookhouse Boys, Cagedbaby, Filthy Dukes, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Wild Billy Childish & The MBE, Holly Golightly & The Broke Offs, and Underground Heroes. There are also some DJs confirmed DJ Jon Carter, Dub Pistols Sound System, Kevin Rowland (Dexy's Midnight Runners), and Aba Shanti Soundsystem with more to be announced.

Earlybird tickets have now sold out and normal priced tickets are priced as follows: adult (16+) weekend tickets £85, child (6-15) weekend tickets £40, family weekend tickets £180 (2 adult weekend tickets and 2 child weekend tickets), and kids aged 0-5 receive free entry. The full prices for tickets will be weekend ticket £85, child (6-15) weekend ticket £40, adult day ticket £35, child day ticket £20, family weekend ticket £80 limited to 200 tickets.

The site is expected to be open for campers from the Thursday at 2pm until the Monday at 5pm.
