Middlesbrough Music Live adds Ladyhawke, Florence And The Machine, and many others

The free festival Middlesbrough Music Live have added more names for the bill which will see over 100 acts across 12 stages throughout the town centre of Middlesbrough on Sunday 1st June 2008.

the new additions for the main stage include Wildcats All-star Jam, Team Waterpolo, and The Anomalies. The Mall New Music Stage at Middlesbrough's Town Hall will play host to Friendly Fires, Ladyhawke, Florence And The Machine, PNAU, and The Joy Formidable. Future Of the Left have been added to the Rock stage line-up and Sons And Daughters top the bill on the The Metropolis: Greatest Show On Earth Stage with support from Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, and Billy The Kid.

This year the main stage is headlined by Ash, with acts already confirmed including Black Kids, Late Of The Pier, Sam Isaac, Natty, Noah and The Whale, The Infadels, Alphabeat, Parka, One Night Only, YouMeAtSix, Cartel, Outcry Collective, Glamour Of The Kill, Slaves To Gravity, and Beyond This Oath. Now in its ninth year, Middlesbrough Music Live is a FREE one day festival organised and funded by Middlesbrough Council which takes places in the heart of Middlesbrough on Sunday 1st June 2008. Last year's Middlesbrough Music Live saw a record crowd of over forty five thousand people attend the Centre Square which will once again be the focal point of Middlesbrough Music Live in 2008.
