Wakestock Abersoch which happens from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July 2008 at Abersoch, Gwynedd, North Wales have confirmed the latest additions to their festival line-up.

Mirroring the sister event at Wakestock at Blenheim Palace the additions are Elliot Minor, Sam Sparro, and Mystery Jets. Also confirmed are the two Radio One DJs, Jo Whiley will host the main stage as well as taking over the decks in the 2nd tent, and Zane Lowe who will host his own stage over the weekend.

Wakestock is Europe's largest wakeboard music festival with free-to-watch wakeboarding by day and music by night. Right next to the beach, as well as featuring a competition for the wakeboard title, there are live bands and DJ's for two nights.

Other acts confirmed are headliners Mark Ronson, Groove Armada, and The Streets, joined by Funeral for A Friend, Duffy, The Hoosiers, Young Knives, Audio Bullys - live, Hadouken, Friendly Fires, Operator Please, Royworld, Metronomy, The Dykeenies, Jazzie B, Norman Jay, Brandon Block, Genod Droog, Kickbox Riot, and Russian Dolls. The site overlooks Cardigan Bay and across to Snowdonia and has facilities to entertain over 10,000 people each night.

Tickets are on sale priced at £85 for a weekend ticket or £110 for a ticket with camping and a campervan ticket costs £40. Note: This is a 16 or over event. Photo ID in the form of a passport, driving license, or proof of age card may be required to gain entry to the festival site, and may also be required to prove you are 18 & over to purchase alcohol. Under 16's will NOT be permitted entry to the festival site, even if an adult accompanies them.
