Latitude announces more comedy with Omid Djalili

plus Mark Thomas and Dave Gorman for Literary Arena

Latitude Festival which happens in the grounds of the historic Henham Park Estate in Suffolk, has added more comedians to the bill for this the third year of the event taking place from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July.

Joining the line-up of comedy is British-Iranian comedian Omid Djalili who will be performing in this year's Comedy Arena. Omid joins a wealth of comedic talent available at this year's festival including Bill Bailey, Ross Noble, Rich Hall, Simon Amstell, Russell Howard and Phill Jupitus and friends, plus many more.

Also announced today for the Literary Arena are stand-up comedian and celebrated writer Dave Gorman who brings his current book 'America Unchained: A Freewheeling Roadtrip In Search of Non-Corporate USA'. Joining him on the literary bill will be political activist, stand-up comedian and author Mark Thomas who will be presently working on his new book 'Belching Out The Devil' an investigation into the global corporation Coca Cola.

Headlining the main stage are the already confirmed Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, and Interpol with Death Cab For Cutie, Elbow, The Breeders, Amadou And Mariam, and M.I.A. For the line-up details as available please click here.

A weekend ticket is priced at £130 and children under thirteen are free, but need tickets. Friday, Saturday or Sunday day tickets are available priced at £55. Lockers are available for £15 with built in mobile charging facilities using car cigarette lighter fittings. A standard campervan pass is £10 (Standard Green campsite) purchasers must have 'Standard' weekend camping tickets. A family campervan Pass costs £10 - (Family Purple Campsite) and the buyer must have 'Family' weekend camping tickets.

This year there will be a dedicated family campsite, for families with children under 13 (who can attend for FREE) within the public camping area and also a family campervan area within family camping.
