Festival Internacional de Benicassim announces new line-up additions

Gnarls Barkley, Sigur Ros, Booka Shade, Hot Chip and many others

Festival Internacional de Benicassim, FIB Heineken, has confirmed another raft of names added to the bill for the festival which is held near Valencia, Spain over the long weekend of Thursday 17th until Sunday 20th July.

The latest additions to the line-up are Gnarls Barkley, Sigur Ros, Booka Shade, Bracken, DaPuntoBeat, Death Cab For Cutie, Ewan Pearson, Facto Delafé Y Las Flores Azules, Fujiya & Miyagi, Gentle Music Men, El Guincho, El Hijo, Hot Chip, Josh Wink, Manos de Topo, Marc Marzenit, My Morning Jacket, Single, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Kills, The Marzipan Man, The Ting Tings, Tiefschwarz, and Vincent Vincent & The Villains.

They will accompany the other acts confirmed which are Beirut, David Duriez, Eef Barzelay, Erol Alkan, John Acquaviva, Justice (live), Leonard Cohen, Micah P. Hinson, Moriarty, These New Puritans, Richard Hawley, Róisín Murphy, Supermayer, and Tommie Sunshine, American Music Club, Jose Gonzalez, Metope, Metromony, The National, The New Pornographers, Robert Babicz, Spiritualized, and Viva La Fete, My Bloody Valentine, Babyshambles, and The Rumble Strips. More acts are expected to be confirmed soon.

Benicassim has something to offer across the whole musical spectrum, as indie and rock bands rub shoulders with DJs and more experimental music projects.

As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival boasts a quality bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.

As well as the usual markets, bars, and food outlets, several other celebrations of the arts take place within the Benicassim festival.
