Scottish indie pop band Franz Ferdinand have been announced as one of the headliners for Latitude, ahead of the official announcement tonight.

eFestivals believes Sigur Ros will be announced as another headliner and Bill Bailey has announced on his website that he will be playing over the weekend of Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July in the grounds of the historic Henham Park Estate in Suffolk.

Latitude claims to be inspired more by European festivals such as Lowlands. Attendees can expect music, art, comedy, film, literature, theatre, performance art, dance, sculpture, workshops, restaurants and waiter service bars.

Tickets will go on sale tonight (Wednesday 19th March) at 7pm following the line-up announcement. Tickets will be priced at £130 for a full weekend ticket, Children under 13 are free. Day tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday are priced at £55 for adults.

This year there will be a dedicated family campsite, for families with children under 13 (who can attend for FREE) within the public camping area and also a family campervan area within family camping.

When buying tickets for you and children under 13 you must select 'PRE-SALE UNRESERVED (FAMILY) TICKETS' then choose the number of adults attending and the number of children under 13 attending. This ensures you will be sent a 'Family Camping Pass' with your tickets when they are sent out
