The family friendly Truck festival which takes place at Hill Farm, Steventon, Oxfordshire have announced the first acts for the main stage, they include Small Faces legend Ian McLagan & the Bump Band, Noah And The Whale, Camera Obscura, The Television Personalities, and Emmy The Great, plus there are still many more soon to be announced.

Truck which takes place over the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday the 20th July are adding some new stages and collaborations this year. The barn will be hosted by 'Vacuous Pop' on the Saturday with a line-up that will include These New Puritans, and Lovvers. 'Sonic Cathedral' host the Sunday which will be headlined headlined by Maps. Saturday night will also feature a 'rave' hosted by 'Fresh Out The Box'.

'Abort, Retry, Fail?' the Oxford electro club will be hosting the Market tent on the Saturday night with live guests including Robots In Disguise, Sunday will be the turn of London's 'Champions Of The World'.

Stages and areas confirmed to also make an appearance this year are The Village Pub Rock Stage, the Disco Shed and an expanded performance lounge, which at night will turn into the intriguing sounding Lady Genevieve's Rock’n’roll Party.

As well as the music, there's food stalls, a kid's area, market, and at least one bar serving real ale. Camping is available within a stone's throw of the action. No dogs, barbecues (of any kind), campfires, sound-systems (this does not mean your small Sony CD player), or glass. Parking is limited, please use public transport where possible. The nearest train station is Didcot Parkway.

Tickets are not yet on sale however there are 300 'Supertrucker' tickets on sale now giving you access to Truck and the organiser's other festival Wood (16-18th May) priced at £100.00 which can be purchased here - the normal Truck tickets won't go onsale until April!

Truck are also at SXSW (South By South West) which is a festival held in Austin, Texas partnering two stages: Wednesday 12th March Clean Air, Clear Stars at The Enchanted Forest and Thursday 13th March A Cosmic American Music Experience (with Amoeba Music) at The Compound.
