The new Wakestock at Blenheim Palace festival in Oxfordshire which happens from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June 2008 has announced the first acts for the event they are Groove Armada, The Streets, Supergrass, Funeral for A Friend, Young Knives, Audio Bullys - live, Hadouken, Friendly Fires, Royworld, Metronomy, The Dykeenies, Jazzie B, Norman Jay, and Brandon Block. There will be many more names added to the bill in the coming months.

Tickets go on sale on Friday 29th February, check back with eFestivals then to buy your tickets. They are priced at £85 for a weekend ticket or £110 for a ticket with camping, and a campervan ticket costs £40. Car parking tickets are £5 per vehicle in advance or £10 per vehicle on the day. A limited number of single night tickets will be available closer to the event.

Wakestock welcomes people with special needs. Please call the Wakestock Ticketline on 01758 710000 before the event to book your tickets and they will send an information pack before the event with all the details.

Note: This is a 16 or over event. Photo ID in the form of a passport, driving license, or proof of age card may be required to gain entry to the festival site, and may also be required to prove you are 18 & over to purchase alcohol. Under 16's will NOT be permitted entry to the festival site, even if an adult accompanies them.
