Oxegen, Ireland's annual multi-stage music festival at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas have announced funky US rock/metallers Rage Against The Machine for the three day event happening over the weekend of Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July.

They join the other acts already confirmed who are - Interpol, The Fratellis, Counting Crows, Ian Brown, The Raconteurs, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, and R.E.M. There are still many more bands to be added to the line-up.

Tickets go on sale at 8am on Friday 7th March - we'll have links to buy when on sale.

The campsite will open on the Thursday this year, but with Thursday night camping costing an extra €20. Campers can get a free onsite parking ticket with every four camping tickets purchased.

You must have an Oxegen parking ticket and Oxegen camping tickets in order to park at the Oxegen site.

NOTE: This event is strictly 17s and over only. Under 17's will only be admitted if accompanied by guardian/friend/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for said person. This policy will be strictly enforced - persons who purchase and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund.
