Middlesbrough Music Live - a FREE event - which happens in Middlesbrough Town Centre on Sunday 3rd June, has announced some of the line-up for this year.

This year sees over one hundred performers appearing across eight stages throughout the town, with the focal point being the 96.6TFM Main Stage which has a new home in Middlesbrough’s new Centre Square. "It’s one of the biggest and best town centre performance locations in Europe" says Middlesbrough Council’s Judith Croft. "The recent decision by the BBC to bring Proms In The Park to the town just goes to show what a wonderful site it is."

Performing on the 96.6TFM Main Stage are The Twang, The Dub Pistols featuring Terry Hall, Tony Christie, Newton Faulkner, Tiny Dancers, Pama International, Ripchord, Mancini, and Elliot Minor.

Playing on the Ten Feet Tall Stage in the Town Hall Courtyard are Good Shoes, The Dykeenies, Foals, Kubichek!, The Envy Corps, The Films, One Night Only, We Start Fires, To My Boy, and Middleman.

Confirmed for the Evening Gazette Sound Stage at Town Hall Crypt are Steriogram, yourcodenameis:milo, Priestess, I was a Cub Scout, Ghost Of A Thousand, Drive By Argument, Miss Conduct, and Malpractice.

The Play Rock 'n' Roll Disco Stage at The Empire has The Hours, Amy Macdonald, Mayor McCa, Kharma 45, and Lucky Soul.

This year’s Middlesbrough Music Live takes place within a new enclosed site to ensure a safe and happy event for all concerned. Audience members will not be able to bring their own alcohol on to the site, there will however still be a selection of on site bars and catering available.
