The Outsider, a new event which combines all a music festival with a range of other activities, both in the festival arena and outside it too, happening at the Rothiemurchus Estate in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th June has announced some more acts.

New musical acts added to the bill are Idlewild in the Saturday, and Eddi Reader, and Justin Currie on Sunday. They join the line-up that has already confirmed Crowded House, KT Tunstall, Guillemots, Willy Mason and more, with many more still to be announced - for the line-up so far click here.

Comedians Karen Dunbar, Stephen K Amos, Michael MacIntyre, Tony Law, and Kevin Bridges have just announced they will be joining Craig Hill as part of the strong line-up of comedians performing each evening in the Theatre Tent.

The Outsider is a new and unique event which brings together the opportunity to participate in a huge range of outdoor activities whilst enjoying big-name music and comedy acts. The festival has a strong environmental agenda celebrating the landscape and the open air. The activities will include the Merida Outsider Mountain Bike Event and Britain’s Most Beautiful Run, which feature in an exciting three-day celebration of Scotland’s great outdoors. Glenmore Lodge, Scotland’s acclaimed National Outdoor Training Centre will be working with The Outsider to provide the outdoor activities and many of the local 75 permanent activity providers will also be closely involved with the event.
