Oysterband's Big Session Festival, which takes place over the weekend of Friday 15th to 17th June at De Montfort Hall and Gardens, Leicester has announced more acts for the line-up.

Joining the acts previously confirmed - Oysterband, Alabama 3 (acoustic & unplugged), Waterson:Carthy, Show of Hands, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Rory McLeod, Whapweasel, Rachel Unthank and The Winterset, Tunng, and Kris Drever - are The Mekons, Flook, Martin Stephenson, Jon Redfern, Colvin Quarmby, Swill, Lisa Knapp, and Instinkt.

There's more acts to be announced over the coming months to play on one of the three stages Indoor, Marquee & Informal Sessions. As well as the music, the Big Session Festival has FREE camping, real ale, food & craft stalls and childrens activities.

Tickets are on sale, priced at just £50 for weekend tickets bought before Wednesday 31st January 2007 - a saving of £10. Kids aged 12-15 yrs cost £15, under 12 are FREE. There's FREE camping for weekend ticket holders only. Call 0116 2 333 111 to book, or buy online.
