Oysterband's Big Session Festival, which takes place over the weekend of Friday 15th to 17th June at De Montfort Hall and Gardens, Leicester has announced a couple of new acts for the line-up.

Joining the acts previously confirmed - Oysterband, Waterson:Carthy, Show of Hands, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Rory McLeod, Rachel Unthank and The Winterset, Kris Drever, and Whapweasel - are Alabama 3 (acoustic & unplugged), and Tunng. There's more acts to be announced over the coming months to play on one of the three stages – Indoor, Marquee & Informal Sessions.

As well as the music, the Big Session Festival has FREE camping, real ale, food & craft stalls and children’s activities.

Tickets are on sale, priced at just £50 for weekend tickets bought before Wednesday 31st January 2007 - a saving of £10. Kids aged 12-15 yrs cost £15, under 12 are FREE. There's FREE camping for weekend ticket holders only. Call 0116 2 333 111 to book, or buy online.
